LOS ANGELES, March 9, 2010 - Created by London native Stephen G. Baldry, this collection fuses and compounds the collaboration of art, fashion and design in a beautiful, poetically seamless way.
Indigenous culture, afropop, couture glamour, punk rock and bespoke are all major influences in this collection. The Artist's use of custom dyeing and silk-screening in addition to impeccable tailoring bridges the noticeable gap in the L.A. Fashion Marketplace for wearable couture that can also be interpreted into fashionable street wear.
Stephen has shown and sold his collection in previous seasons on a global level, but this is his fantastic return to the Los Angeles Fashion Market...to fashionably and solidly represent Art/Design and Fashion in the way that only a London born L.A. based Fashion Artist can do.
Cupcakes, cocktails and DJ Tony Mack will begin at 7:00 with live body painting at 7:45. At 8:30 the fashion show will start, and raffles for free giveaways will take place throughout the evening.
